Hello! I am a fine arts painter, with a BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. My primary painting medium is oil and alkyd, and mostly I work in a representational style. My greatest challenge as a painter is to capture the effect of light; and my greatest joy as a painter is to accomplish that. New Artworks...


"TiPlant Tropicale", 2018, mixed media on rice paper, 10"x8" framed size

This is a new version of the TiPlant image I just finished up last week. Now that the weather is heating up and summer is on its way, I hand colored this digital drawing with some "hot" tropical colors. It was a fun one to do!
